Laurie Calvert

Laurie is the newest model to join our network of creatives! Having done done many catwalks and also 17 model shoots to build up his portfolio. A fully trained actor and dancer, Laurie has been teaching for two years. He has also appeared in 6 plays, playing leads in 4. Laurie is also a keen presenter and has been presenting on Channel Four with Gok Won for his new show. Laurie is an experience fashoinista, having also worked as a junior buyer for Four Marketing a large UK based fashion marketing company.

Edmond

Edmond, the first male model to join our books is now available for bookings. Having rised the ladder as a male model for many major labels, magazines and aritsts, Edmond has set a precedent in male modelling.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome Rhian

Our newest model Rhian has finally joined our network. One of our more experienced models, she has experienced the fashion from Toni and Guy hair shows to walking for Kallikas Armour at London Fashion Week. Rhian is also trained as a dancer and has been since the age of three, performing in professional shows at the theatre, and also at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

New models

Flashlight are pleased to announce that again this week, we have signed 2 more models. Samantha and Anne-Marie.

20 Year old Anne-Marie has come a long way in a short amount of time. Having only started out in modelling a few months ago, Anne-Marie has done nothing but progress in the industry, having modelled for the likes of Nivea and De la Mode.


19 year old Samantha has also progressed very far in a very short amount of time. Having been modelling officially for 10 months, Samantha has been lucky enough to find herself as a featured model of BookMeDirect.com. She has also been a model at Wimbledon fashion week and featured in many magazines including Black Hair and LMP.

New Models Signed

We are pleased to announce the signing of 2 new models today.

23 years old and from London, Crystal is in the process of making a big name for herself. with additional skills as a singer, and having been signed to an american record label, Crystal's first music video is set to debut on MTV channels very shortly.



A professionally trained as a singer and dancer, 22 year old Kristina originally from Blackpool has worked as a promotional model for the major brands including Ford, as well as working for the likes of photographers Paul Cox and Nick Russell.

Getting There...

We attended a London Fashion Week networking event on Wednesday which turned out to be a success. We have met some amazing potential models through this and hope to expand this even more.

Our server has completely gone down so we are starting again with the website and our email address still will not work.

Our aim is to have a roster of London's most talented creatives and to be in contact with London's most exclusive venues all in one place. This way, we are able to go to potential clients with a portfolio that they cannot say no to. This in turn means work...for you!

Upcoming Designers Showcase Their Garms

We are pleased to announce that we are promoting fashion promotion company Fashion Workforce UK's first annual Spring Summer 2009 catwalk show on September 20th 2008 in London. The show is designed to bring together independent fashion buyers, Fashion PR and Scouts with passion for fresh and new looks in fashion.


The night will be filled with live music from provisional artists, before the fashion show.

New Designers Rock it at Capetown Fashion Week

Capetown Fashion Week kicked off on Wednesday which was due to be the show to showcase the newest and upcoming fashion designers to come out of Capetown's fashion scene.

Designers included the likes of Fresh Wear, Lalesso and Doreen Southwood.

The theme for Fashion Week this year..New World Africa meaning both the redefining of the continent locally and internationally and a celebration of the opportunities of 21st Century Africa.

Seems that it's all about the prints this year as most of the designers had rather simple designs. You can see the subtle African influence with all the designer's designs, which really makes them their own and really shows to the public that it's all about African culture over there.

The week is sponsored by Virgin Mobile and Loreal and ends on August 16th.

Yep you heard it. Bordello. The new sexy pre club bar in Soho. Located on Wardour Street and launching on Saturday 16th August, Bordello is set to be the new celebrity hangout in the happening Soho. With cheap entry and a GREAT atmosphere, what more could you ask for?

"Trousersnake" rocking out at New York Fashion Week

Justin Timberlake is preparing himself for what is going to be a VERY busy New York Fashion Week week for him. As the new face of the new William Rast collection ads the former "N'Sync" stud is scheduled to perform at the annual Fashion Rocks concert on September 5th.

For William Rast, his and partner Trace Ayala's new denim line, Justin will be rocking at the Roseland Ballroom, while models make their way through showing off the latest collection.

this is set to be one of the most star studed affairs of the week so definitely one to keep an eye out for! We will add pictures as we get them from the event!
